For those who prefer their boxer briefs with longer legs, our Ethan trunk combines an open front with a longer leg. We’ve chosen manual welt hems for softer body contact as well as minimalist hemlines to ensure it retains its superior streamlined fit. The softness extends to the superfine threads and fabric-covered waistband for maximum comfort. We like to think they embody our philosophy of ‘Smart Comfort’ perfectly.
We have been making micro modal products since the the introduction of our men’s Basel range in 2006. It has proven so popular that we decided to develop a micro modal underwear range. It seems only fitting that a fibre so soft should be worn next to the skin.
Crafted from a unique blend of micro modal stretch, the Ethan originated from a desire to make a lighter weight melange version of our signature Basel micro modal fabric. We maintained the super-soft fabric quality and stretch composition and added a subtle yarn mix to add delicate ripples of tone for a fresh and modern aesthetic. The Ethan is the lightest weight of micro modal we make and excels as an underwear fabric.
Not only is the Ethan soft, but thermostatic properties in the micro modal fibres allow them to react to changes in temperature and regulate your body heat, making this trunk ideal for day-to-day wear throughout the year.
What’s more, the Ethan fabric retains its initial softness and colour and is also environmentally friendly; made from sustainably forested European beech trees using a process that is carbon neutral.
Seen here in our sumptuous charcoal grey marl, the Ethan trunk is an essential for those who need practicality, comfort and style all-in-one.
